Monday, October 10, 2011 at 11:39AM Today in music history in 1965, The Supremes made their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. For those of you who don't know. (Although I'd be surprised if you didn't) Ed Sullivan was what David Letterman or Jay Leno is today. Once you made it onto the Ed Sullivan Show you knew you were on your way. Ed Sullivan opened the doors for household names like Elvis and The Beatles, as well as numerous comedians.
