Walk-ING, Runn-ING, Rock-ING with yo' Funk-ING UNKLE at the ING! Sunday, Sept. 15th.

Come check us out at the Philadelphia ING Rock n' Roll 1/2 Marathon, one of the most popular marathons in the U.S. With 25 of the area's best bands scattered from the Art Museum area and throughout the scenic Lincoln, Kelly and MLK Drives, the ING will shut down the City as over 15,000 runners and just as many spectators flood the streets with the excitement of competition and spirit of Brotherly Love. And all the while-the bands will play on! TBU will be staged at one of the best locations, close to the finish line at--the 11th Mile Stage at MLK Drive and Sweetbriar Rd. We go on at 9:00am.  Hey--this is our 3rd time at the ING. We love this funkin' gig!!! You'll love it too!!!

We'll be back in Sept. but we gotta finish out the summer with a bang...with the one who "delivers"! Special guest: Andy "The MilkMan" Finberg on guitar! 

Wow! What The Funk Was That!??

Thanks to ALL of our friends, fans and newbies who came out in full score last night at Peppers. So...ya'll think you can dance?? That was a special night for us as we departed from out usual for a little summer camp experiment. We see that you needed a change as well. Talk about a "one-time-only" summer special. I don't think anyone expected a crowd like that. And y'all was all drinkin' up on The Big Unkle Chocolate Fusion Cocktail. Talk about an unbelievable night!! 

Thanks to our very special guests, Kristin Bigness of The Bigness on vocals and John J.B. Bigham of Funk Church on keys. We couldn't have done it without 'em! 

We'll be back at Peppers, our home stage on Sat. Aug. 24th. If you're keeping score--you already know that we are there the third Sat. of almost every month.
