Quirky Tom uses: Crash cymbals: Zildjian, Ride/hihats/splash: Sabian, including in studio only: Phil Collins Signature Ride. In studio: Drums and hardware: DW. and Pearl Chad Smith Signature Snare.
Live: Drums and hardware: Pearl Export series. Rehearsal: Tama Rockstar Deluxe, and Gibraltar rack system.  And sometimes, he even uses common sense, and will occasionally break all conventions and actually apply logic where there is none.
